To lay down the procedure for to provide a written procedure for preparation of Sodium Hypochlorite solution

PROCEDURE
- Calculation for NaOCl dosing Flowrate:-

Considering 48 hrs of operation 24 lts of solution need to prepared
- Preparation of Sodium Hypochlorite solution of 1 % concentration
- Take 20.5 liters of fresh potable water in dosing tank.
- Add 3.5 liters of fresh Sodium Hypochlorite (7% weight/volume (w/v) concentration-approx.) in dosing tank and stir with the help of S.S. appro.
- Adjust dosing rate such that free chlorine level approx.. 2 ppm is maintained at the outlet of the recirculation pump (This is checked by Free Chlorine Test Kit).
- Prepare and add fresh solution in the dosing tank in every 48 hrs.
- Avoid low level situation in dosing tank.
NOTE:
· Dosing solution should be prepared in soft water/ potable water only.
· Dosing Solution should be replaced once in two days.
· Dosing tank should cleaned once in a two days
